Description
This score is for a 1983 reissue of the classic blaxploitation movie "The Mack" from 1973, originally scored by Willie Hutch. Ten years later the movie was released again because of the current popularity of Richard Pryor. The movie needed a more mordern score, so Alan was called in to rescore the movie, which resulted in a surprisingly well done funk score. The LP was released in 1983 (not in 1995 as some say). The reissued movie is practically nowhere to be found anymore.
